SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATIONThe sacrament of confirmation in the faith is now held at age 16 and usually takes place in the cathedral of the diocese, in Garden City. Candidates are confirmed by the laying on of hands by the bishop.Preparation for confirmation requires a number of lessons. Persons wishing to be confirmed should contact the priest. |
